What is Signyalé for?

Signyalé is aimed at a young and local audience. The application favours simplicity, anonymity and trust, taking into account the social and economic realities of the territory.

These Terms of Use define the rules for accessing, using and moderating Signyalé.
You must accept them in order to use the application.
This acceptance is given through a clear action, for example by ticking a box during registration. It has contractual value.
To publish your products or use promotional tools, you must create a professional account.

Any user may report problematic content.
A “False report” button allows the community to indicate that published information may be incorrect. Each report has a reliability score, initially close to 60%, which changes according to the number of views and likes.
If several users indicate that a report is false, this score decreases gradually. When it falls below 45%, the report is automatically deleted.
In addition, our team may remove content, suspend or delete an account.

In accordance with the French LCEN law, Article 6-I-2, Signyalé acts as a hosting provider.
This means that we do not edit content in advance. However, if clearly reported illegal content is brought to our attention, we remove it promptly.
A tool accessible to everyone, even without an account, allows any content to be reported if it is:
Any person mentioned may request a right of reply, which will be published within 3 days.
Wrongly reporting lawful content in order to have it removed is an offence:
1 year of imprisonment and a €15,000 fine (Article 6-VII LCEN)
When you publish content (text, photo, price, etc.), you remain its owner. However, you authorise Signyalé to use it free of charge within the application to display it, distribute it or highlight it within the community.
The name “Signyalé”, the strawberry logo, colours, drawings, application texts, design, code and all features are protected by law, including copyright and trademark law.
You may say that you are on Signyalé, for example: “Our products are visible on Signyalé”, provided that you do not modify our logo or mislead others.
In the event of unauthorised use, Signyalé may request removal of the content and take the necessary steps to enforce its rights.

At Signyalé, we want everyone to feel respected. Here are the rules to follow when you publish a photo in the application:
You must never publish a photo clearly showing a person (face, recognisable silhouette, identifiable posture, etc.) unless they have given you their consent.
This is the law, Article 9 of the French Civil Code. Publishing an image without authorisation constitutes an infringement of image rights. If this happens, the person concerned may claim damages.
Even if no person is visible, do not photograph a private place, a storefront with a family name, an identifiable business, etc. Respect everyone’s privacy.
Geolocation is used only at the time of the report, never in the background. You can disable it at any time in the application settings.
If a photo or information makes it possible to identify a person, directly or indirectly, for example a shop or regular seller, then it becomes personal data.

If your image or privacy is exposed on Signyalé without your consent:

Signyalé is not responsible if you post a photo or comment that infringes someone’s rights. However, if a problem is reported to us, we act quickly, as provided for by the LCEN law, Article 6-I-2.
